Hard Copy Vs Recycled Marketing Leads
There has been a huge surge in websites offering leads for telemarketers lately, and there is a growing trend among that surge. That trend is recycled leads, which is more or less a printed out copy of targets that has been given to a number of people, and sold off as original. This is a shady practice that has sent many outbound sales agents to the same phone numbers, which rarely leads to sales, and more often leads to people getting solicitation blocks on their numbers.
When looking for viable lists to up sales you always want to go with hard copy lists. These are handwritten and always offer one set of names to one person who purchases them. They are also always industry-specific, so when you buy something in, say, magazine leads, you know that you will get a list of names that have shown interest in one way or another within that category.
But because there are so many dishonest websites selling useless numbers many telemarketers have been put off purchase. Just a search on Google for credit repair travel leads, or anything similar, will bring up dozens of companies, many of them scams. You should always make sure you are buying researched hard copy from verified sources. As long as you do your research you will find plenty of resources that can point you in the right direction, drastically boosting sales for a sale investment. It’s like the saying goes ‘Buyer beware’, which is simply a warning to be cautious of who you trust, not to stay out of the marketplace all together.
